You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB up to a 4RM flat as a private property owner aged above 55 years old and above.

Also do take note that you will have to dispose off your existing private property within 6 months from resale HDB purchase completion. Or if you require funds from sale to finance this purchase, we will have to work out your numbers and timeline for a smooth transition.

As long as you are 55 years old and above, you will be able to purchase 4-room HDB or smaller types without any wait out period after selling your private property. 168D simei lane DBSS is considered HDB, hence if you get a 4-room here you need not wait out 15 months after selling even though you own a private property now.

- Condo Seller Andrew - Ivan understood there's urgency to sell my private property too within the given timeframe, provided me with assurance and solutions. When the sale of my private property commenced, it was during the Covid-19 pandemic period; whereby, only 2 unique visitors were allowed to view the property on any given day. Notwithstanding this, Ivan somehow managed to arrange many viewings in the weeks ahead & from time to time, he would also update me on the viewers' feedback (if any), after their viewings.
